Hi,
I would be interested in an answer on this topic, too.
Can you handle Pdfs with form-fields (text, checkmarks etc.) with the gdviewer and extract with the gdpicture image-library?
kind regards,
Oliver

online help offline
Hi,
is there an offline-help available for GdPicture V10?
We don't have a direct access to the internet, and that makes the use of te help a bit complicated.
kind regards,
Oliver

PDF-Viewer shows white page
Hi, we have one customer with problems displaying pdfs in the viewer. He has two applications, that use the viewing part. With one app, the pdfs look fine, with the other app, just a white page is shown (same pdf-file!). We can not reproduce the problem on our side so far. We think, it might be a me...

redist msvbvm60.dll
Hi, we built a setup to distribute our application using GdPicture. We try to bring MSVBVM60.dll on the system during installation. This works fine for Win XP and Win 7, but nor for Win Vista. The MSVBVM60.dll has the version 6.00.9815 and seems to be from a Win7-System. (I found it in the redist-fo...

LargeAddressAware-dlls
Hi, we have a rather big .Net-Solution using GdPicture-components. We have some problems getting enough memory (in one piece) for decompressing our images (tiff / jpg). One solution could be, to make our program LargeAdressAware, so we could use more than 2 GB of virtual memory. Do you see any probl...

Re: Installation in GAC (Global Assembly Cache)
Hi,
I think, I understand now. The file GdPicture.NET.pdf.gdpdfplug.dll is no longer needed in version 8, there is a new file
GdPicture.NET.PDF.Dll, and that one is installed in the GAC.
best regards,
Oliver

Re: Installation in GAC (Global Assembly Cache)
Hi Loïc,
I downloaded the new GdPicture Vers. 8 and I found out, that the 2 files
GdPicture.NET.image.gdimgplug.dll and GdPicture.NET.pdf.gdpdfplug.dll still cannot be strong-name-signed.
Do you plan to change something here? We would like to put all the dlls in the gac!
best regards
Oliver

Installation in GAC (Global Assembly Cache)
Hi, we would like to install the GDPicture-components in the GAC. This works fine for the GdPicture.NET.dll, as it is strong name-signed.But it does not work for GdPicture.NET.pdf.gdpdfplug.dll, as it is not strong name-signed. Are there plans to sign this dll as well, or to prepare this dll for al ...
