ADR Region of interest
Loic, is it possible to run ADR on an ROI? e.g. the header of the page is always the same, but the body may change. I would like to do recognition on just the header (or footer in some cases of medical records). If not part of GDPicture, would the following work? Would I have to use just the header ...

mouseupcontrol position in viewer used in imaging
Loic, I am having problems: I pass the e.x and e.y values returned in the mouseupcontrol event in a Viewer object to and imaging object. I want the user to click on the spot to add the second image and some text. This worked in VB6, can't get it to work in VB.Net The image and text do NOT end up whe...

Optical mark recognition
Loic, Thanks for your tremendous efforts. I have played a little with the OCR engine. Will do more. Do you have plans for optical mark recognition: the kind used to scan and grade tests, for instance? The user would fill in a circle on a form (usually one of several options), and the OMR engine woul...

Re: VB.Net 2008 and "Reference required to assembly" error
Thanks Loic, spectacular response, as usual. You shouldn't have to support Microsoft. I was unable to just delete the references and the bin and obj directories. So I have started a new project, with a new main form, and imported the code and other modules. Haven't finished yet, but the initial buil...

VB.Net 2008 and "Reference required to assembly" error
Loic, I've hit a stone wall: I am using registered version of the lastest GDPicturePro 5.x. It does exactly what I want it to do. I am using VB.Net express 2008 My project runs fine in debug mode, without errors. When I try to build the exe, I get the following error and the build stops: Error 102 R...

Re: Features and application question.
Robb, Your app would probably require the GdPicture Pro SDK. It does not run from the command line, but as part of a compiled executable. Having said that, creating an app (I program in VB) to monitor an incoming network location, grab the file, save it somewhere else, add a watermark and post the w...
