Re: Version 10 vs 9 tiffs are different somehow.

Actually I did find something that compares files. http://www.bitbanksoftware.com/tinytools.html There are more tags on the new tiff. Can I turn tags off somehow? OLD: File name: C:\aSampleData\tiffs\old.TIF File size: 116730 (0x1C7FA) Bytes Byte Order: Intel Current IFD: 1 of 3 IFD offset(s): #1 = ...

Is there is a good tool you know of to view the details of the tiff?

Yes. Plus a native WPF version of all GdPicture usercontrols. This will be available in the next major release.

With best regards,

Loïc
Wow, both. You guys have been working hard.

HTML Viewer

Are there plans for a javascript HTML viewer?

Although I love XAML, I'd abandon WPF. The windows forms viewer works fine with WPF.

Version 10 vs 9 tiffs are different somehow.

So I have an old outdated 3rd party viewer that needs to view these tiffs I'm creating with GDPicture and for some reason when I changed from Version 9 to 10, this 3rd party view gives an error (The tiff looks fine, there's nothing wrong with it, just a very picky viewer). I looked at the properties...

Re: Can you create PDF documents with grids and tables?

There are some things that I can't figure out how to do to make my reports, that I'm currently do with your partner syncfusion. 1. I don't see where I can create a grid so I can add columns and rows to put stuff in. I can work around this setting height and width though, but it would be nice to have...

My WPF sample using GdViewer with WindowsFormsHost

FYI for people using WIndowsFormsHosts in WPF, it works very well. Here is some sample code to add buttons and to help to dynamically re-size the viewer based on window size. <WindowsFormsHost Grid.Row="1" Grid.ColumnSpan="3" Margin="0 5 0 0" Canvas.ZIndex="1"...

Re: New to gdPicture, .NET 4.0, Visual Studio 2010 Installat

Of note, I couldn't add references to some of the files in the redist that are not in the framework directories, like GdPicture.NET.9.filters.dll. What I did is I added that file to my project using (add as link). Then also put copy local = true. This will copy the file when publishing. I'm using th...

Re: Making a 1 file cmd line .exe application

I also tried with a WPF, but my problem is trying to add files like GdPicture.NE.9.image.gdimgplug.dll as a reference in visual studio. It doesn't let me add this file for some reason. I used this link to try to make 1 wpf exe: http://blogs.interknowlogy.com/2011/07/13/merging-a-wpf-application-into...

Making a 1 file cmd line .exe application

I'm usually not making command line applications, so I don't have the greatest knowledge about this. So I might not know what I'm talking about. But it seems when I make my command line pdf to tiff conversion and I put all the DLLs in the directory that my mypgm.exe is in, it works. Now I want to us...

JBIG2 Decoder

I'm using a telerik WPF PDF viewer to view my PDFs and they have an option to decode JBIG2 if you add the decoding yourself. I'm wondering if I can do this with this plugin? I basically need to take the inputData which is the bytes for that page and decode it. I couldn't find anything to do that, bu...

Re: Reducing PDF size by altering the embedded images [UPDA

If my PDF doesn't contain any images, it seems to increase the size of the PDF (about times 3). I'm guessing that it add some settings that are not set in the original that I load in. What should I check?

Re: Reducing PDF size by altering the embedded images [UPDA

Which product/products do I need to buy to be able to do this? I currently have partner because of sync fusion. I want to be able to convert documents to pdf and compress them and save them as a certain PDF format. I would need the pdf plugin, but would I also need the viewer? I might be interested ...

Re: GDViewer Image to SQL Database

Well you're going to have to put it into a byte array. SQL Server has a image variable you can use if you want, or varbinary(max). This probably isn't the forum for this, but I have this code handy. I could probably put in a few more usings in my code too, but here it is. public static int InsertIma...

Is anything like that in the works?
Also I'm wondering if the active x plug in would work on a Mac? Well I'm wondering if I could scan from a mac with this software?
