Question about image codecs

Hello,
I'm new to GdPicture. I wonder whether your component will be able to read the image if a camera codecs is installed on the system. Can it use image codecs is the question I am asking?

From my understanding, camera codecs are videos right? If this is just a series of images then we can load each of these images in GdPicture if the format is included in the list I linked above.
If this file you are trying to load is a video format then we do not support it.
