I'm using the GDPicture toolkit to access the TWAIN driver of the default scanner in order to scan certificate documents into a PDF. I'm doing this using VBA in Access 2003. I have a custom settings screen where the user selects resolution, duplex, etc... This has been working fine for months and the users have been happy.
One of the users has requested the ability to use the scanner's local user interface to set his settings. They want it so they would press the button that is setup to scan within MS Access, Access would prepare the PDF, Access would open the scanner's user interface, the user would adjust any settings as necessary, then scan from there. I have an EPSON PHOTO RX500 and I can't seem to get it work using the object.TwainSetHideUI (bHide) method. I'm not sure it's my scanner or if I am just not approaching it correctly.
Has anybody done this before and could they send me the source code?
Thanks
Use scanner interface to set settings
Re: Use scanner interface to set settings
Hi,
Just make a call to the TwainShowSetupDialogSource() method:
