Which tool(s) get ?

I'm confused after I see the many various GdPicture tools and any more i read that are 5 different editions of GdPicture.net.

Sorry please, help me.

I think there are the follow steps to do, what tools I need?

1. get a picture from twain
1a crop the picture to a selection and/or change the properties
2. save this picture to a PDF
3.OCR this PDF to get the included text
4. put it in the PDF and save it as searchable PDF/A

Is it all possible with one or more GdPicture tools of .NET?
What I need for?
Is it all .NET or I have to bind additional dll/ocx/... ?

Hi,

According to the GdPicture.NET comparison matrix you need the GdPicture.NET TWAIN PRO SDK edition + the optional GdPicture Tesseract Plugin.

I'm looking at the GdPicture.NET Docu but I didn't found functions for PDF/A.
How can I save a PDF as PDF/A?
Is it in an other DLL /OCX?

Hi,

You are welcome.

Saving as PDF/A is easy. Some function such as SaveAsPDF, SaveAsPDFOCR, TwainPdfStart, TwainPdfOCRStart.. have a parameter called PDFA. Just call this method setting this parameter to True. You can see the list pf parameters of each method within the GdPicture.NET reference guide.
