Hello,

Since the OCR engine is introduced to GdPicture I would like to request a new feature: setting multiple rectangles in the viewer. So that text/char highlighting can be possible.

By rectangles I mean a flowing rectangle like created by viewer.SetRectValues method, not the ones that can be drawed to image, because for 100 undraw steps (for example) 100 modified image copies will be needed in the memory.

Transparent filling of those rectangles can make it complete.

Tell me if you consider to add this to your wish list.

The highlighted regions feature is already on our wish list.

The development has already started in GdPicture.NET and should be available within 6 months on GdPicture ActiveX.

Cette fonctionnalité permettant l'affichage simultané de plusieurs rectangles m'intérresse au plus haut point.
Avec possibilité de remplissage coloré et transparent comme l'évoque Slava.

Une possibilité d'affichage de textes serait aussi extrèmement bienvenue. (fonction post-it!)

Un espoir pour bientôt? j'ai déjà 25000 rectangles dans ma base qui n'attendent que ça, dans quelques mois ce sera plusieurs centaines de milles...
Je fais essentiellement de la découpe et assemblage d'image dans le domaine de l'état civil. Je dois donc assurer le contrôle et la tracabilité de toutes les opérations. Actuellement je dois faire défiler mon rectangle sur la feuille pour m'assurer qu'aucune mention n'a été oubliée (entre 1 et 12 mentions par page) c'est extrèmement efficace mais surtout usant!!!

Aller... .NET peut bien faire une pause!
