Auto Scanning

Hi all,

I am sure this is a very stupid question but i'm new to all this and I can't find a solution

I have used GDTwain with MS Access and I must say it works extremely well... i have been able to launch the scanner, set the values of resolution, area selection (POI) etc and pass the scanned image back into access. All works very well. However my question is, how can i make it scan the selection automatically? i.e. without having to click on "Accept" on the HP Scanjet window.

Since I wont be needing to change any parameters on the scanning it would be good if when I click on the "scan" button in the ms access form it would automatically scan the selection and display the image in access, without bringing up the HP Scan window and having to press "accept" everytime.

I hope I have explained myself well.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply - it worked a treat!!!

I have 1 more question...It displays a small HP Splash screen for about 2 seconds, I don't suppose there is anyway of getting rid of this? I'm guessing this belongs to the actual driver and can't be removed?
