Annotation Support

Just want to throw my vote in for Annotation support. We would really like to use your product but one of the main reasons we need a product like this is to be able to support annotations. The native Adobe PDF viewer works fine for us except for things like annotation and redaction. We also would like to add a native scanning with OCR option to our software instead of using a 3rd party which I think you already have covered.

As far as annotations go we would need the ability to draw lines, boxes, write text (free form or note based), and highlights. We need to still be able to print / email the underlying document with or without the annotations so we don't want them burned in unless the user specifically asks for it like in the case of a redaction.

Any update or time frame you can give us on the availability of this feature would be great. We don't have to have something by tomorrow but it would help a lot to have something we could start developing on by the first of the year of by the end first quarter at the latest.

Hi Bill,

Annotation support is already 70% done today. We expect a full support for PDF & Image in first Q of 2011.
