ItemSelectionChanged

Hello,
When using AddItemFromStream or AddItemFromFile, After clicking on a thumbnail, ItemSelectionChanged fires once, with Idx equal to the prior thumbnail and Selected = false, then again for the currently Selected thumbnail and selected = true.
If I use LoadFromDirectory, ItemSelectionChanged only fires for the prior selected thumbnail, with Selected = false, but never fires with the currently selected index, Selected = true.

Is this by design?
