PreloadAllItems Doumentation

I am looking for clarification of the PreloadAllItems property. According to the documentation, "True is recommended if
the number of items exceed 1000." It would seem that you would not want to preload a large number of items.
If the documentation is correct, can you explain in more detail its use.

The doc is not correct. It is: "False is recommended if the number of items exceed 1000. ".
