redist msvbvm60.dll
redist msvbvm60.dll
Hi,
we built a setup to distribute our application using GdPicture. We try to bring MSVBVM60.dll on the system during installation.
This works fine for Win XP and Win 7, but nor for Win Vista. The MSVBVM60.dll has the version 6.00.9815 and seems to be from a Win7-System.
(I found it in the redist-folder)
Do we need this newest version of the dll on all our customer-systems? This is a Microsoft system-dll which should be already installed on
every system we support (WIn XP, Vista, 7, 2008). Could we just use the version of the dll, that came along with the windows?
kind regards,
Oliver

Oliver:
You do not need to include the standard VB6 runtimes in your set-up for XP, Vista and Win7 operating systems. Nor should you.
These runtimes ship with those operating systems.
