New to gdPicture, .NET 4.0, Visual Studio 2010 Installation

Post by toaster » Tue Feb 21, 2012 6:36 am

Hi, i'm new to GdPicture, i've installed it and i'm hoping to use it with managed C++ in visual studio 2010 with .NET 4.0. I create a new win32 project and go to Project -> References... but cannot add a reference to the GdPicture.NET.dll library. Can someone give me a hint as to where I am going wrong?

Much appreciated,

Michael.

Hello,

Here the steps:

- Right click on project
- References...
- Add New Reference...
- Browse. Select GdPicture.NET.DLL
- OK

Of note, I couldn't add references to some of the files in the redist that are not in the framework directories, like GdPicture.NET.9.filters.dll. What I did is I added that file to my project using (add as link). Then also put copy local = true. This will copy the file when publishing. I'm using this in WPF on win 8 VS 2012
