Using more than one Dictionary

Hey,

I am new here. I would like to use the OCR for my project in university.

I managed to use the OCRTesseract for my documents successful but, some of the documents have both English and German words.

When I set the dictonary as "deu" I get more accurate results in the german part but bad accuracy in the English part, and vice versa.

I set the dictionary as following:

sOCR = oGdPictureImaging.OCRTesseractDoOCR(imageID, "deu", dictonaryPath, "");

Is possible to use both english and german dictionaries in the OCR process ?

Hello there,

Unfortunately this is not yet supported. Actually only one language per process can be supplied.
A workaround consists to apply the OCR on region of interest.
