Off the shelf software see TypeReader @
http://www.expervision.com

If there are a large number of documents/pages maybe consider a document scanning bureau?

Hi 2basix,

With a specific end goal to make a checked archive editable and accessible, you require the ace adaptation of Adobe gymnastic performer x or Adobe aerialist xi. On the off chance that you would prefer not to purchase the genius adaptation of Adobe stunt-devil, you can attempt the trial version(for 30 days)which incorporates every one of the functionalities of the master rendition.

Hi all,

GdPicture.NET offers all the necessary features to convert TIFF or PDF to searchable PDF.

The version 14 comes with a sample application dedicated to this topic, it can be found within the following folder:
GdPicture.NET 14\WinForm\C#\PDF to PDF-OCR

Please note GdPicture.NET also offers PDF/A conversion for long term archiving

David
