Native WPF Image Viewer

Are there plans to include a WPF viewer that contains the functionality of the WinForms Viewer? Using the WinForm Viewer hosted on a WPF window caused delays in my application and I have had to "roll-my-own" viewer cobbled together from code found online. It is not as fully featured as the WinForms Viewer and I have to write all of the zooming, rotation, etc. by hand.

Hi Bryan,

Actually YES. It is our next major step, that and a native web viewer as well. We are hoping to start development soon, but a specific date is not set. Our target is to include those sometime in 2013. Announcements will follow the release.

What's the status on this. I saw the viewer on the demo, but it didn't have any tools bars, zoom, page turning or anything.

It still under development, nothing has been released yet. The demo you're talking about is using ActiveX technology therefore it can only work with Internet Explorer.
