I didn't find example in 9.4 samples using Sauvola filter. Therefore I took ImageProcessing sample and replaced call to ConvertTo1BppAT by call to ConvertTo1BppSauvola. The produced result was relatively clean but too much black pixels were lost. I tried image, which I sent previously in this topic. Maybe my parameters were wrong. So could you advice values to produce bi-tonal image similar to one I sent you here (img_101495455004512479694874535.tif). Thank you.

Hello,
I am evaluating your product and still didn't decide whether we'll purchase it. I discussed with Loïc in this topic some technical issue. Finally I was advised to download latest version of SDK. I did it, but the proposed solution still doesn't satisfy our requirements and I was asking for more clarifications regarding new functions (Sauvola filter) added. Can you explain me, why do I need to contact your sales? If I really need it, can you redirect my question to sales directly?
Thank you.

Hi,

I am sorry for the confusing reply on my behalf, I was replying to your question as to how to obtain a trial license key, and I did not notice that you had already moved past that point and you had another technical inquiry.

As to your technical question, to try the parameters of the function, please refer to the new demo called Binarization in the vb.net samples folder of your GdPicture directory. In there, upon selecting Sauvola, you shall see three slider bards on the bottom, which you can manipulate to see the effect of changing those parameters.

Best Regards,
Sami
