PDF Version 1.5 Support

Hi

We use GdPicture.NET - Document Imaging SDK version 6.5.0.0 in a Win Forms application to display pdfs. A client has uploaded a few pdfs that say PDF Version: 1.5 (Acrobat 6.x) in the properties and when loaded into the viewer using DisplayFromByteArray what is displayed is blank. There aren't any exceptions thrown. Are these pdfs supported please?

Yes they are now, in newer versions. You should consider upgrading your actual toolkit, discount applies.

No, that's not what I am saying.
What I am saying is that 6.5 is very old and a lot of improvements have been done in the PDF support since then and therefore I'm pretty confident those files are now supported. I don't think the problem is PDF version 1.5 anyway, it's more likely a file structure related issue.

Thanks for the support.

I've resolved the problem by utilising Adobe Acrobat to save the pdf as tiffs, combine tiffs to a single pdf and then save as pdf, thus elevating the pdf version. The pdf now displays in the viewer under GDPicture version 6.5.0.0.
