Opening à 32bits picture

Post by dosjchris » Thu Aug 22, 2013 12:02 pm

Hello,
I have many 32bits JPG picture (from Canon EOS 5D Mark II and CS 6.0)
When i use CreateGdPictureImageFromFile ("mypicture.jpg")
the GetBitDepth method gives me 24 (24bits)
and when saving the picture, the file is 24 bits encoded and doesn't look like the original.

I'm using the last V.9 release (demo before purchasing) in activeX mode...
Thanks for help.

Hello,

I suppose you are talking about CMYK photo. Our next version (that will be published within 2 weeks) will fully support CMYK JPEG reading and writing with ICC correction support. If you are able to attach such image I will be able to provide and example of what we obtain as output with the V10.

Kind regards,

Loïc
