GdPicture in Excel 2007 VBA

Post by Mayura » Thu Nov 07, 2013 3:16 pm

Hi,

Can I use this GDPicture in Excel 2007 VBA?
If yes, how... could you please post some examples and documentation around this?

Also wanted to know if this is royalty free licensing?

Regards,

Theoretically yes, Excel does accept ActiveX controls in developer mode so you should be able to use GdPicture.NET even though we never tried.
We can't provide specific documentation for Excel because we already provide extensive Access demo application with our SDK installation package and it is pretty much the same thing (VBA).
To learn how to include ActiveX controls in Excel I suggest you refer to the Microsoft documentation, or search online, there are multiple guides like this one for instance.
You should also refer to our online documentation about using GdPicture.NET as an COM/ActiveX component here: https://www.gdpicture.com/guides/gdpicture/Usi ... tiveX.html
