Deskew Actually Skews Image More

Hi,

What can I do that will stop the deskew operation from making the images worse?

So far, I've converted them from 24b jpg to 1bit tif and that doesn't help. It works correctly on many images and many images are made worse. Its just not consistent, and looking for what I can try to fix...

Hi,

An example of an image would be great, we always try to make our engine better, and if we encounter wrong images we keep them in our database to include a fix for them in the next engine revisit.

That being said, since Deskew is not a scientific algorithm with an accurate method, you will always encounter images that work with one algorithm and not with the rest. We still our AutoDeskew to be both performant and accurate compared to what is available.
