GenericError using TiffMergeFiles
GenericError using TiffMergeFiles
I am getting a GenericError when using the TiffMergeFiles method. I am trying to merge multiple TIFF files, but I am getting this error.
Code ex:
GdPictureStatus gpPicStat = gdPictureImaging.TiffMergeFiles(document.Pages.Select(page => String.Format("{0}{1}", document.DriveDirectory, page.FilePath)).ToArray(), tempFileName, TiffCompression.TiffCompressionLZW);
All the files exist at the locations and have write permissions.
What causes the GenericError status? This is with V9.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and let me know if you need more info?
Thanks,
Mac

Hi,
It is impossible for us to assist you without being able to reproduce the problem from our end. Could you please attach two tiff pages with with the TiffMergeFiles fails?
Best,
Sami

Re: GenericError using TiffMergeFiles
The issue, seems to be running in a citrix environment. When running on the server it can merge the files, but if run on the citrix client it does not work and I get the GenericError.
Does TiffMergeFiles have any issues running in a Citrix environment?
Thanks!

Hi,
No, no known issues. It could be a series of things, most probably with your deployment, but we cannot tell since we cannot reproduce the error on our side.
Best,
Sami
