We rolled out the gdviewer in our product last week and are have some issues with several of our customers. I had sent an attached tiff file to look at to support but I never received an email back (possibly our spam caught it). Did you get that file? If so, is there’s a way we can use the gdviewer to see these documents? This issue is critical for us, as our clients (banks) are unable to see important documents at this time.

Hi,

I got the file.

Unfortunately I haven't any way to display this file.
I've never seen this kind of image file. Are you sure that the tif generator used does not made invalid file ?
Photoshop CS2 can not open it too...

Best regards,

Loïc

I found out the document is tif file using jpg compression. Is there a way to have the viewer open that type of file?

Hi,

Unfortunately the gdiplus edition which works with Windows XP doesn't support tif files with jpeg compression.

I think that the best solution for you is to save your jpeg encoded image as jpeg file and not as tif file. There is few viewer on the market that support encoded jpeg tif files.
